Support our Monastery

Our hidden lives of prayer can be a waste of time, talent and energy in the eyes of a world that values efficiency, productivity and consumerism. For those who believe in the power of prayer, however, it is a life of wonder, awe and adoration. It is a life worthy of praise.

People of good faith, who believe in the power of God’s Mercy to transform our hearts and our world, have borne witness to the centrality of the contemplative life by supporting it from the very early centuries of the Church. In our own day, Pope Francis says:

Dear Contemplative Sisters, without you what would the Church be like, or those living on the fringes of humanity ministering in the outposts of evangelization? The Church greatly esteems your life of complete self-giving. The Church counts on your prayers and on your self-sacrifice to bring today’s men and women to the good news of the Gospel. The Church needs you!

As a young monastery, life is very much an adventure. In the seven years since our official opening in the Upper Squamish Valley, we’ve been very blessed by benefactors near and far. We’ve begun landscaping the grounds, installing safety equipment, building our own vegetable gardens and are working hard to live simply and do as much as possible with our own hands to make sure that your gifts are put to best use. At the same time, we still have building costs that we are working to pay off, as well as the ongoing needs of a growing community trying to become established in a wilderness area. Any gift that you give today will go a long ways, not just for the current community, but for the young women who will enter our monastery in the years and decades to come.

Can you help us?

We remember and pray for all our benefactors daily.
May God bless you a thousandfold for your generosity.

What else do we need?

Sometimes people ask if they can give us something specific. We are currently in need of yarn for our weaving workshop (otherwise known as the "looming project"). Thank you and God bless you!
